Executive Pastry Chef Position in Miami, Florida, United States
A new restaurant is opening in Miami, Florida, USA in the style of a Viennese café. The restaurant wants to hire an executive pastry chef who is willing to relocate to Miami full-time. The chef must be a graduate of a culinary pastry school and be highly skilled and experienced in baking a wide range of pastries and cakes in the Viennese tradition in addition to making ice creams and chocolates. High level of expertise in cake decoration such as in wedding and other special occasion cakes is a strong plus.
This will be a new start-up business, so the chef must be willing to be involved in equipping and setting up the kitchen, managing the kitchen and potentially other staff, and designing the menu, among other tasks.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and include a base salary plus a percentage of gross sales. Paid one-way relocation will be provided.
Interviews will be conducted in English in Vienna on July 6th and 7th and in Salzburg on July 9th.
